CENIT at SIDO: from virtual to real with FASTCUBE, the automation platform for the connected workshop
SIMULATEVERIFYDRIVE
Our exhibitor CENT will be present at SIDO, stand O322within the collective village RoboticsValley and space InnorobobySIDOAn opportunity to discover his flagship demonstration live. From Virtual to Real ", as well as its new platform FASTCUBE.
A live demonstration, from CAD to weld bead
At his booth, CENT will present a complete robotic welding scenario: going from a CAD model to execution on a real cell, in just a few minutes. The visitor follows the entire process before their eyes: model import CAD and creation of the cell's digital twin, generation of the welding template with a single click, 3D simulation of the trajectories, automated offline programming in FASTSUITE® with trajectory calculation and collision detection, then generation of the robot's native code, ready for use. The validated program is then transferred and executed under real-world conditions.
This demonstration is made possible thanks to the partner DOGA and its welding cell equipped with an OTC cobot.
FASTCUBE: Automation that adapts to the terrain
CENIT also highlights its new modular platform FASTCUBEDesigned to connect planning, engineering, and the shop floor within a shared digital infrastructure, this solution, deployable both in the cloud and on-premises, is primarily aimed at SMEs with a high degree of diversity and low production volume, who seek to digitize their processes without complexity or high initial investment.
Two modular applications concretely illustrate this approach:
- FASTCUBE Fixture Builder automatically generates a production-ready welding template from a simple STEP model, saving up to 75% of design time, with direct export to DXF/STEP format for laser cutting.
- FASTCUBE Shopfloor Assistant This allows operators to directly correct discrepancies between the original program and actual production on the shop floor, with 3D visual validation before execution, without going through a complete CAM cycle. In a typical multi-line SME scenario, the potential savings are estimated at approximately €237,000 per year.
