Reachy: a bio-inspired robotic arm from Pollen Robotics
As part of a research project, Pollen Robotics and INCIA created Reachy in 2017, a bio-inspired robotic arm with the size and mobility of an adult arm (7-DoFs): https://www.pollen-robotics.com/reachy/ Reachy is designed as a research and experimentation platform, enabling the exploration of new interactions and control challenges in large spaces. Open source, 3D printed, and modular, it is designed to easily adapt to different experimental setups! Today, Reachy is available in a new version that includes: – a completely redesigned mechanism enabling smooth and precise movements, – inverse and direct kinematics, – the option to add a hand made by OpenBionics, – a left-arm version called Leachy.
