ELSYS Design presents a demonstration of Edge AI for critical industrial systems at SIDO 2026.
ELSYS DESIGN - Booth O312
Our exhibitor ELSYS Design, company ofADVANS Groupwill be present on September 16th and 17th at SIDO 2026, at the Cité Internationale in Lyon. Visitors will be able to meet its teams at the stand STMicroelectronics (O312)where a demonstration ofEdge AIbased on a concrete case of embedded vision.
Deploying AI as close as possible to the field
Faced with the limitations of architectures entirely dependent on the cloud, theEdge AI It is emerging as a response to the challenges of performance, resilience, and data control in industrial environments. The demonstration presented by ELSYS Design will illustrate the entire value chain necessary for deploying an embedded artificial intelligence solution: data annotation, model training, performance optimization, and then redeployment on the target hardware—an approach known as MLOps.
Beyond the technological demonstration, ELSYS Design highlights the concrete challenges faced by manufacturers seeking to deploy AI directly on their systems: computing constraints, energy consumption, latency, cybersecurity, infrastructure availability and data control.
A technological partnership with STMicroelectronics
This demonstration is part of the collaboration between ELSYS Design and STMicroelectronics on STM32 technologies and embedded AI. ELSYS Design joined the ST Partner Program in 2026 to strengthen its support for manufacturers developing solutions on STM32 platforms.
Resilience through proximity
This news echoes a recent webinar dedicated to theEdge AI in critical industry, which explores the limits of all-cloud architectures and shows how embedded AI can enhance the resilience and responsiveness of industrial systems.
As Florian Dupeyron, head of the Edge AI domain at ELSYS Design, summarizes, Edge AI makes it possible to deploy high-performance AI models directly on equipment, as close as possible to the field.
