A valuable skill, but difficult to pass on
At Votat, the teams possess solid knowledge and skills, but these are too rarely backed up and recorded—making their transmission from one generation of operators to the next difficult. This challenge is exacerbated by the recent modernization of the production equipment: the integration of new machines and connected lines, designed to expand services and conquer new markets.
Structured support towards the right solution
To frame its approach, Votat first consulted the firm Opération'elle to precisely identify its business processes and needs. This analysis led the company to Innoteo, with a clear objective: to consolidate all of this work within a unified tool, in order to build a true internal knowledge base. This is what led to the selection of the Dimeo solution.
According to Philippe Marillaud, President of Votat, industry 4.0 represents a strategic lever to evolve the company's positioning and gain recognition in its market.
Rapid autonomy in the field
In January 2025, Votat officially launched its digitalization with its first Dimeo modules, dedicated to new production machines. Anne-Cécile Wesolek, Human Resources Director at Votat, emphasizes that Innoteo's support facilitated the adoption of the tool — the teams now have "complete autonomy" in creating their training and maintenance content.
