Re-Lion Factory, AirCarto and AtmoSud join forces for the energy autonomy of air quality sensors

Our exhibitor Re-Lion Factory announced its partnership with AirCarto And AtmoSud around a concrete project: the autonomous power supply of air quality sensors deployed in Marseille.
AtmoSud, the regional air quality monitoring association for the South region, measures pollution using reference devices and micro-sensors. AirCarto, for its part, is deploying an open network of IoT micro-sensors for continuous air quality monitoring. To power this measurement network, the three partners combined their expertise to design... backup batteries for solar kits, integrated directly into AirCarto's NebulAir measuring devices.
These second-life batteries provide a technical and responsible solution: they meet the demanding specifications of a continuously operating environmental sensor network, while also being part of a participatory science approach, citizen engagement and carbon footprint reduction.
A project carried out with the support of Europe in the South region, which illustrates how IoT, circular energy and territorial engagement can converge around a common challenge: better measurement, to act better.
