Sensolus presents its latest IoT innovations at the SIDO trade show in France

Lyon, France – Sensolus, Europe’s most trusted asset tracking solution, is delighted to announce its participation in the SIDO expo, taking place September 18 and 19 in Lyon. Sensolus will showcase its IoT innovations, having already connected over 300,000 assets in the field, with the solution endorsed by industry giants such as Airbus, Suez, Stellantis, and AB InBev. “The Sensolus team fully understands Airbus’s needs. By working together, Sensolus demonstrates a willingness to adapt and refine the solution to address our wide range of IoT use cases, making us true ‘innovation partners,’” explains Romain Valent, IoT Specialist at Airbus Group. Sensolus enables companies to gain complete visibility into their critical assets within the supply chain. Beyond simple location tracking, the intuitive cloud platform translates this data into actionable insights to optimize asset utilization, identify operational bottlenecks, and manage inventory with precision. The easy-to-install solution allows companies to quickly reap its long-term benefits. For example, by installing trackers on their trailer fleet, AB InBev, the world’s largest brewer of beer, achieved a 12% increase in trailer utilization in just four months. Because the solution can be coupled with BLE sensors, companies can also monitor the condition of their assets, including orientation, shocks, humidity, and temperature. Monitoring the temperature of food in transit has proven beneficial for DPD Fresh, the fresh and frozen food delivery service and subsidiary of the renowned parcel delivery service, DPD. Koen Verlaenen, Managing Director of DPD Fresh, explains: “This is a huge time saver. I believe it represents efficiency gains of around 30 to 50 percent in total operating costs when handling larger volumes.”

Going further with new technologies

Sensolus' industrial-grade trackers, renowned for their durability, can operate for over 10 years. The latest addition to the range of new NB-IoT trackers, the T1101, is built on an entirely new hardware platform, establishing a foundation upon which new technologies can operate as future needs evolve. It includes several new features, such as integrated temperature sensing, shock detection, and rotation counting, making this tracker an evolution of the T1100 – the most integrated tracker in the NB-IoT range to date. The tracking solution is secure, customizable, designed in-house, and enhanced by a patented data retrieval algorithm.

Conclusion

Sensolus continues to revolutionize the asset tracking industry with its innovative and reliable solutions. By participating in SIDO, Sensolus aims to demonstrate how its IoT technology can help businesses improve efficiency, reduce costs, and gain valuable insights into their operations.
