Business meetings: how a partnering event works?

A matchmaking event is a quick and easy way to meet potential cooperation partners !

People meet and greet at high speed. 20 minutes are usually enough to build connections, then the bell rings and the next talk star

The brokerage event is meant to foster only international cooperations before and during SIDO on-site and online.

5 steps for optimising return on investment of your business meetings:

1. Registration on the Brokerage event platform

This year we will use Brella to manage international business meetings.

The first thing you will have to do is to create an account on Brella and join the brokerage event using this link: https://next.brella.io/events/brokerageSIDO

You will see, it is a fast and easy process, but if you encounter any trouble you can check the regustration guis via this link : https://help.brella.io/en/participants/join-an-event

Then, choose your attendance (the date when you intend to come or participate online).

2. Updating your profile and selecting your interests and intents (tags)

The most important part of the ristration process is selecting your interests in participating the brokerage event. The more relavant your tags are, easier it will be for your potential partners to identify you and match your intentions.

Lastly, you’ll be asked to complete your personal and organisation information, writing a little pitch

3. Book meetings before and even during the event

Browse published participants profiles to find the most interesting for you. Use the interests tags to identify possible matchs on the platform. Send meeting requests to those you want to meet. Add a meaningful remark why you are interested in this meeting will increase the chance that your request will be accepted (you can use direct chat !). You will be asked to accept or reject meeting requests. Accept requests and you’ll will be able to schedule the meeting according to your availabilities and those of your partner.

When you select a timeslot for your meeting you’ll have to chose if you plan your meeting on-site or online. You will always have the possibility to meet online thanks to Brella video-call system.

4. At the event | 22-23 Setpember 2021

At the registration desk, you will be able to check your meetings, ask for any help you need regarding the matchmaking event and application.

If you are on-site, we will be happy to welcome you on our Brokerage event area, and offer you some coffee before your meetings.

If you are online, you will be able to profit breakout rooms for your pauses during the event and discuss with other participants online at anytime you want

5. After the event

After the event, you will be asked to complete the follow-up form. Your Enterprise Europe Network contact will be available to support you in your upcoming cooperation projects
