Ten years of innovation: SIDO, the event accelerating the digital transformation of companies, announces a unique edition!
2024/07/15
September 18-19, 2024 – 10th Edition – Cité Internationale, Lyon – 350 exhibitors, 70 conferences, 210 speakers
In just over two months, the B2B SIDO trade show will open its doors for its tenth edition, a testament to its maturity and ongoing commitment to the digital and industrial ecosystem. A pioneering event for IoT players, SIDO expanded its scope in 2019 to include AI, XR, and Robotics technologies. Thus, the show has become the leading French event dedicated to the convergence of technologies for the digital transformation of companies. To coincide with this milestone anniversary, SIDO is expanding with a 25% increase in exhibition space and enhancing its value proposition, notably with the creation of a side event, Lyon Cyber Expo, dedicated to cybersecurity for SMEs, mid-sized companies, and large groups.
In just a few years, SIDO has become the unmissable event for professionals looking to carry out a digital transformation project. Networks and connectivity, hardware components, engineering, integrators, software, artificial intelligence, new human-machine interfaces, collaborative robotics, immersive realities… all the technological building blocks necessary for a 4.0 project are represented at the show, offering visitors a comprehensive showcase of solutions for their business. With its exhibition and conference format, SIDO presents and deciphers these technologies, particularly their applications and uses, thanks to the numerous experiences shared over two days.
Two days to participate in a concentration of expertise
Industry leaders, SME and mid-sized company executives, corporate decision-makers, innovation or R&D managers… SIDO is your must-attend event to boost your competitiveness. At a time of exceptional growth in generative artificial intelligence and its convergence with technologies such as industrial IoT, robotics, immersive reality and quantum, it is vital to jump on the right bandwagon and find the right partners: the leaders of tomorrow will be those who have adopted these strategic technologies today.
For two days, Lyon becomes the convergence point for market experts, with pavilions from major players such as STMicroelectronics, Orange, Arrow, Aquitaine Robotics, Minalogic, Pôle SCS, Hub France IA, the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Region, and many others. This year’s edition stands out with the arrival of over 25% new exhibitors, including CEA, Inovelec, Eolane, Saft, Ela Innovation, Digi International, Thundercomm, Apacer, Netmore, Sensolus, and many more.
In 2024, SIDO is not stopping there and is accelerating the movement on the theme of sustainable IT. The new area Impact by SIDO will bring together companies and startups developing IoT, AI, XR, or Robotics solutions based on a sustainable economic model or addressing major ecological challenges. This initiative is part of a partnership with the Métropole de Lyon, which will be present with IT refurbishment actors. Impact by SIDO also brings together several new exhibitors such as Retronix Europe, Mavana, Resilio, Verdikt, Aico, Azuria, Sycon, Goodfloow… The conference program, already imbued with this theme for several years, will address issues such as digital frugality, resource management, energy performance, eco-design, and product life cycle.
LYON CYBER EXPO: the new meeting place for SMES, mid-sized companies & large groups
As a flagship digital event in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Region, SIDO is keen to contribute to the collective effort to raise awareness among local companies about cyber risks and to join regional initiatives. Lyon Cyber Expo, a true spin-off from SIDO, aims to be a business exchange platform where industrialists, tech leaders, and the research world can collaborate, share knowledge, create new technological partnerships, and design concrete projects to protect the digital ecosystem of our companies. Among the partners of this first edition are Minalogic, Cap’tronic, the Regional Information Systems Security Club (Clusir) of Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, the Association for Digital and IT in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Region (Adira), the French Federation of Cybersecurity, Digital League, and the Women in Cybersecurity Circle (CEFCYS), all of whom have responded to the call.
With around sixty exhibitors expected, including Microsoft Security, Orange Cyberdefense, Metsys, Exclusive Networks, Eset, Kaspersky, Fortinet, TD Synnex, Mimecast, Qualys, Quest, Varonis… (non-exhaustive list) and a dedicated conference room, Lyon Cyber Expo aims to support SMEs, mid-sized companies, and large groups in building and implementing their information system security policies. In parallel, the conference program will address hot topics such as the Cyber Resilience Act, the NIS2 Directive coming into effect in October 2024, risk management and threat detection, as well as security challenges specific to industrial control systems and IT/OT convergence.
