Bruno Gaigé EN

Bruno GAIGÉ is a recognised expert in the field of work equipment safety with over 30 years of experience in the industry. He has developed unique expertise covering the entire industrial equipment value chain: from R&D design to regulatory inspection, standardisation and market surveillance. Since February 2021, Bruno has held the position of national technical advisor at SOCOTEC Equipements, the French leader in inspection and technical control. In this strategic role, he oversees national technical coordination in the field of machinery, supervises the qualification of inspectors and ensures the implementation of inspection methodologies and regulatory and standards monitoring. He monitors the standardisation work of the IEC TC44/WG2 committee via AFNOR for the development of the prEN 50742 standard on protection against corruption of machine control systems, in response to the requirements of the new Regulation (EU) 2023/1230 on machinery and related products, applicable from 20 January 2027.
