Émeline Baume EN
Following a course of study combining life sciences and communications, Émeline Baume worked in the field of communications for various public institutions and local authorities, before becoming a project manager for the Rhône-Alpes Region in the field of associative life, popular education and participative democracy. A key figure in Lyon’s environmental movement, she was a borough councillor and elected to Greater Lyon in 2008, before joining the Lyon city council as president of the EELV group in 2014. Becoming a metropolitan councilor in 2015, she took charge of the Circular Economy and Waste Prevention delegation, which led her to pursue a master’s degree on the theme of the Social and Solidarity Economy, which she obtained in 2018 thanks to a dissertation on the territorial circular economy and the gift economy. In 2020, she was appointed first vice-president of the Metropole de Lyon.
